The Enrollment Partnerships Department collaborates with K-12 schools, community colleges and other organizations to create clear pathways to the university. These partnerships are designed to support student success from early engagement through degree completion, expand access to higher education and strengthen academic transitions across educational institutions.

Articulation Agreements

Articulation agreements are formal partnerships between UNT and another college or university documenting how a program or series of classes completed at that institution will be accepted to satisfy degree requirements at UNT. These agreements create seamless pathways for students transferring between postsecondary institutions.

Provides City of Dallas employees opportunities to learn about UNT programs and benefits available to students pursuing a degree at UNT.

Dallas County Promise

A collaborative partnership that supports students in navigating their best-fit postsecondary options with a goal for students to be successful in college, career and life. UNT offers last dollar scholarships and mentoring support for eligible Dallas County Promise students.

North Texas NOW! Dual Credit Program

A four-semester interdisciplinary, project-based learning dual credit experience designed around solving real-world problems. The half-day classes engage students in discovering unique solutions while developing skills in project management, collaborative thinking, data analysis, communication, creativity, decision-making and leadership.

Dual Credit Program

Students in Denton ISD may enroll in select online courses that will apply to both high school graduation requirements and a bachelor's degree. See your high school counselor for more information.

Through the Eagle Advantage program, UNT partners with over 40 independent school districts to offer guaranteed admission to students who graduate in the top 25% of their class—reinforcing our commitment to opportunity, access and student success.

Harmony Public School students intending to attend UNT have opportunities to participate in programs, projects and activities that support college access, admission, persistence and completion.

North Texas NOW! Dual Credit Program

Red River Promise

A partnership consortium with higher education and community partners to build a stronger college-going culture, produce students ready to achieve their educational goals and provide well-educated and trained graduates to strengthen our local and state-wide workforce. UNT offers last-dollar scholarships and mentoring support for eligible Red River Promise students.

Tarrant County To and Through (T3)

A collaborative partnership of Tarrant County school districts, higher education institutions and organizations focused on serving students and families in Tarrant County. Launched in 2020, T3 provides a variety of programs designed to inform and engage students and families about college and career pathways. UNT offers last-dollar scholarships and mentoring support for eligible T3 students.

Texoma Promise

A commitment and partnership between North Texas school districts, Grayson College, universities and the Texoma community. Texoma Promise builds a strong college-going culture, expands access to higher education and strengthens the workforce.

Agreement to create collaborative degree programs

UNT and UNT Health have a commitment to foster collaboration and synergism among the institutions and programs of the UNT System and address the growing demand for professionals with backgrounds in public health, anthropology, business, research, teaching, advocacy, health sciences and public service. The partnership will enable students to earn baccalaureate and graduate certificates and/or degrees more efficiently than through conventional routes.

Community College Partnerships

At UNT, we believe in the power of partnerships to transform lives. Our pathway partnerships with community colleges are designed to expand access to higher education, promote a strong college-going culture and support students every step of the way toward earning a four-year degree.

Through innovative collaboration, we work with community colleges to align curricula, offer joint advising, streamline transfer processes and build customized programs that meet the unique needs of students.

Eagle Bound Program

Eagle Bound engages pre-transfer students in communications with UNT and provides them with a transfer pathway from Collin College to UNT for completion of an associate and baccalaureate degree. The institutions are dedicated to providing greater educational opopportunities and services for students transferring between the two Institutions.

Business Field of Study Concurrent Enrollment Program

A program where students are co-enrolled at both Collin College and UNT, following a four-year degree plan, that results in the completion of an associate degree and bachelor’s degree.
